I’ve lost count of how many gray strands of hair I’ve plucked from head in the recent years.  It’s a slow takeover, but the grays will gain ground eventually.  Sad for me.  Thankfully there are hair dyes-and quite frankly I’ve been eying the purple tinged one, so it really could become a hair-raising experience for those who know me and am used to my dark brown mane.  Nevertheless, for those of you who despise the silver tinged lining atop your head and don’t want to spend the time and money re-dying your hair every couple of weeks a product line called Travertine Spa is announcing an answer to your woes.  It is called Hair Therapy and it supposedly will prevent your precious blond, brunette or red locks from aging prematurely.  The anti-aging components are pumped into your shampoos and conditioners so that you may wash and de-age at the same time.

For those opposed to chemicals, this new line claims to be all-natural using the much overlooked Indian gooseberry extract, which supposedly “prevents premature gray hair and encourages growth and healthy pigmentation,” according to a press release on Cosmeticsdesign.com.  Who knows how much time will be taken off of your hair strands in the long run, a week, a month a year…maybe more?  And at $25 to $30 per bottle youthfulness comes at a high cost.  But then again, this is not new news.  Also keep in mind your job, your kids, your dog, and the entire time George Bush was in office causes stress which leads to gray hairs.  The latter will be solved soon…though perhaps not soon enough.  The grays are starting to dominate!
