Apparently spas are on the rise in the Middle East.  Good news for wealthy travelers who can afford to go.  Bad news for people who can’t afford it and even worse news for people who live in the Middle East and maybe don’t want to have an influx of highfalutin’ ladies and gents trouncing around in silk robes whilst sipping on champagne.  But spas, like drugs, alcohol and gambling can be addicting.  Luckily, though unlike the former three addictions…which can land you in jail or worse: rehab, just ask Lindsey Lohan or Amy Winehouse, the only downside for frequent trips to the spa is the lonely void it leaves in your wallet.  And for those seeking to integrate culturally these new spas in the Middle East will incorporate local traditions…so that you may feel exactly like a Middle East resident.  Well probably not exactly…well probably not at all.  But there is a guarantee that you will be pampered, though you and your greenback will have to travel far away to get it.
