Spafinder, the site that really is “all things spa,” perhaps to a nauseating extent, but nevertheless incredibly informative for people who are spa-crazy has officially released the Crystal Award Winners for Best Spas for 2007.  There are six winners, one on each continent, but for the purposes of this blog, whose writer is currently situated in San Diego, California, I will focus on the North America Crystal Award Winner.  That spa has been named as the Miraval Life in Balance Spa, which is located in Tucson, Arizona.  If I ever felt the need to visit Tucson, which I currently don’t, I would make a point to stop at Miraval Life in Balance-to receive a massage and to, well get my life balanced.

Apparently Miraval Life in Balance, yes I am getting tired of writing that so for the purpose of this blog we will henceforth call the spa MLB (not to be confused with Major League Baseball-go Padres!)  but I am drifting…MLB is regarded as a center that touts both aesthetic enhancement and spiritual improvement.  So essentially if you look as bad as you feel-this is the place for you!  MLB offers more than 100 spa treatments, so there is a wide variety to choose from, though I wouldn’t recommend trying to fit all of them into one day, which as shocking as it may sound, being that we are dealing with a spa here, can be exhausting, not to mention costly.  But I reiterate my point that if you ever find yourself in Tucson, check out the MLB-I assure you that you will emerge at least somewhat balanced and if you don’t, there’s always the therapist!
