This was my first visit to theJennie’s Salon I was happy with my haircut. I was looking for a place to have a haircut the way I want. I thought I found a place and would like to recommend to any one who is looking for place to have a great haircut. I got my haircut today, from a young hairstylist. I didn’t request a master stylist, but read good reviews, so thought I’d give it a try. The girl did a great job washing and conditioning my hair and even gave me a little massage on my head while working in the conditioner, which was so nice! Unfortunately for me that’s where my 5 stars end and my 3 stars begin. I have very thick hair that is a combo of wavy and curly. I asked for thick layers to really get into my hair. The girl cut like 0.5-1.0” at a time, and was constantly fluffing my hair to see how the my hair was laying. Once she was done, I grabbed the back of my hair and said it still felt thick and not really layered. I noted I didn’t want superficial layers I wanted deep layers. Then she gets the shears out and thins my hair, which isn’t really what I wanted but I went with it because my end result was for my hair to be lighter. Then she had to drum my baseline hair again because it was too thin. My hair is shorter than I’d have wanted, but after constant assessment of my hair and having the stylist do as I ask, I feel the end result is just ok. I felt she wasn’t confident in cutting my hair, and referenced my usual stylist and how she would just get into my hair and cut like 2-3” off at a time to get me my thick chunky layers I want. It was usually a 20 min cut. My first time here and I feel it will be my last. My impatience led me here vs waiting for my usual stylist to cut my hair. Course my usual stylist is older and has been cutting hair for 20-30 years now, experience does make a difference. Services: Hairstyling , Haircut

I decided to give Jenni’s a try for a brow wax. As a guy, being self-aware of my eyebrows is something I don’t take likely. Knowing Jenni’s reputation, I trusted them to make me feel welcome and also safe knowing all of the current health restrictions. After several text reminders about my appointment, I was greeted promptly at the door for a quick temperature check and some hand sanitizer. I appreciated the extra safety measures to protect me as well as the staff. I was then asked to sit in a nicely decorated waiting area with plenty of room between the chairs. While waiting for my stylist Megan J, I was admiring the nice décor and decorations as well as the cleanliness of the building. After a short wait, I was escorted back to the waxing room. Passing by several other stylists on the way, I felt comfortable as they were all wearing masks and was once again impressed by the cleanliness in all of the workspaces. The waxing room lighting was perfect, not too light or dark. There was also a nice aroma that wasn’t strong, yet felt relaxing and there was some relaxing music in the background. Megan started by putting a warm towel around my neck as I relaxed into the chair. She asked what areas of my brows I wanted to be cleaned up to ensure it was to my liking. She was self-aware of the wax temperature and began the process. I found her personality very friendly, professional, and easy to carry on a conversation with. Periodically she gave me a mirror to make sure she wasn’t taking off too much hair. As she finished the cleanup process, I was provided with one final check to ensure my satisfaction. She took her time to ensure a great level of detail. I’ve tried many different salons in town, but this was by far my best experience. I would highly recommend Megan for brow waxes and any other services she provides. Her attention to detail will be appreciated by any customer. Service: Body waxing

My Mother in Law took us here on Saturday morning for makeup and hair for the wedding of her son. When we got there they had 2 bridal parties getting hair and make up and even though they were very busy we loved our makeup and our hair. These makeup and hair artists are very good and work great even when they have 20 girls in the salon at the same time. Very friendly and professional. I loved it
